There are two types of headbands that we use to make tennis nets.  Vinyl and Poly.  The Vinyl headband has UV stabilizers, a slicker surface and a smoother surface.  The Vinyl headband is best used in the Eastern United States as it resists mildew and doesn’t hold water.   The Poly headband is a little tougher, won’t crack and is best used in warm/dry climates like the Western United States.   Both headbands work very well but they are designed to withstand different environments.   If you live in a dry to very dry environment go with the Poly headband.  If you live in wet/moist areas then use the Vinyl headband.  The Vinyl headband also has a coating that helps resist mildew.
